If you are looking for a positive upbeat way to ensure both you and your dog work in harmony, I can help.
I am Jacqui Skelton-Norrish, I offer tailor made dog training services.
I have owned dogs all of my life and have always been passionate about their welfare, happiness, care and enrichment.
I offer one to one training tailored to you and your dog’s individual needs. Our sessions factor in your dog’s history, breed characteristics, emotional characteristics and your own personality, constraints, abilities and needs.
Puppy Training
I provide one to one advice to help you from the minute your new bundle of fun arrives. From 8 weeks to 14 weeks I offer experienced advice via zoom.
From 14 weeks I can see you at my secure training ground. I will customise the training for your puppy to meet your aims.
Rescue Dog Training
Some rescue dogs have special needs. I quickly recognise their needs and tailor their training plan accordingly. We’ll do a thorough assessment in the first session, so that I understand the dog’s past and their experience and how best to work with them.
Gun Dog Training
Gundogs have special skills in their genes. I advise on how these can be developed at an early age through play, patience and continuity.
I offer training from a puppy right through to a fully grown adult dog. Any dog with a will to retrieve can receive this training.
Behavioural Training
I specialise in rehabilitation of dogs with anxiety, aggression, handling, socialising, recall and general obedience problems. I do this by teaching you, the owner, how to interact and connect with your dogs and give you the tools that you need to build on your relationship.
Getting Started with Dog Training
We have an in depth free consultation over the phone, before we arrange a lesson. That way you can be sure that I am the right trainer for you and able to help.
We’ll arrange a lesson at a time and day to suit you.
Your first session will be for one hour (unless we have identified that longer is needed for specific behaviour issues).
Each lesson is tailored to your needs.
Once your lesson has finished I’ll give you an individual training plan. This helps you to focus on the lesson and once you are home you will be able to refer back to the plan to help keep you on track.
Dog Training Fees
The cost of one hour of private tuition starts from £45 depending on your needs. If longer is needed or home visits are required we’ll adjust the hourly rate in line with that.
